About T-Mobile IP Relay

IP Relay is a free internet-based telecommunications app designed for people who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, or who have a Speech Disability. Make and receive relay calls seamlessly on Android devices running Android 6.0 or higher, including tablets, using text-based communication whenever you need it.

Connect instantly with qualified relay operators who facilitate your conversations in real time. The integrated contact list keeps your frequent connections organized and accessible, while comprehensive call history lets you track all your communications. You'll have direct access to live customer care whenever you need support or have questions.

IP Relay works across both cellular and wireless networks, giving you flexibility in how and where you stay connected. Registration is required to get started, and the service is available throughout the USA and US territories. Keep in mind that international calls will either be blocked or terminated, so plan accordingly for domestic communication needs.

While IP Relay supports emergency calling, understand that it may not function identically to traditional 911/E911 services. By using T-Mobile IP Relay for emergencies, you acknowledge that T-Mobile is not responsible for any damages resulting from errors, defects, malfunctions, interruptions, or service failures, whether caused by T-Mobile's negligence or otherwise. If you don't have an active data plan, casual data charges may apply to your account.
